There is pride and comfort in having a place you can call your own. Owning a home is an accomplishment that is usually on everyone’s bucket list.

I help move-up buyers, and first-time homebuyers find the perfect loan for their home. I have also worked with many self-employed borrowers in the local home market.

Helping people is a passion for me. I remember the first house that I purchased on my own. The loan officer who helped was incredible and helped me to understand the process and walked me through each step. As your trusted mortgage advisor, I want you to have the same experience I had when I purchased my first home.

I’ve been in the mortgage industry for 15 years. I grew up in a small town where the primary industry was the coal mines. Looking for more opportunities and a better life, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. My goal has always been to have a home on the lake. About a year ago, I had the opportunity to purchase a lot on the water in Mooresville, North Carolina. Since then, I have gained a lot of knowledge in working with our construction team; I am now in the process of building a home on that lot.

When I’m not helping clients, I support many charities such as my church, St. Jude’s, The Humane Society, The Heart Foundation, and others. I enjoy learning to grow and develop myself to be a better person. I make time to be there for my family and support them through tough times, such as severe illness. I love being outside, working in my yard and flower garden, and caring for animals of all kinds.

Instagram post I never signed up for this part… It just kinda happened. Well… I say happened loosely, because it was four years of a lot of freaking work. Thinking back.. when I got my real estate license many moons ago, I just wanted flexibility. Time to raise kids, travel, and live life on my own terms. I’ve never been great with “no” (only child problems, maybe 😅). I wanted to go on vacation whenever I wanted without worrying about PTO!! Honestly, I don’t even know what that is?! I’ve never had to ask for it once in my whole adult life. Perk of never having a steady pay check I guess. But the thing about saying yes, even when it’s uncomfortable, is that it can lead you to places you never expected and sometimes those end up being the best parts of your journey. I was so dang nervous up there. A couple of people told me I didn’t seem like it, which surprised the heck outta me and made me feel all warm inside. I’m a real estate agent y’all! All this other stuff like “public speaker” shoot I’m out here winging it! A few weeks ago in Miami, standing on that stage, it hit me it’s important to stop every once in a while, take a breath, and look around at how far you’ve come. I’m just so grateful. Because even though I’m still actively helping buyers and sellers chase their home dreams, I also get to help agents grow, too. Never thought I’d end up here.. but man, I’m glad I said yes. Instagram post I’m sitting at this coffee shop right now, and honestly, I almost want to cry. I don’t know if it’s because I’m completely exhausted, unbelievably grateful, or because I got 10k steps on the dance floor AFTER midnight. Either way, my heart is so full. People kept commenting on how dope our video was. How confident we seemed on stage…and that means the world dont get me wrong! BUT behind every “dope” moment is a thousand unglamorous ones!! This picture is the truth. The grind. The resilience. Countless hours, screens, late nights, trial and error… It’s what the past 4 years has looked like. You get to see the .001% from stage. But you need to know the other 99% looked like the other picture. Bottom line, Hard work pays off. Resilience builds strength. And every once in a while, you get to look up, take a breath, and realize you GET TO be a part of something really great. AND you get to do it with people you really care about. 🫶🏼 Instagram post They say fear and excitement share the same hormones.. adrenaline and cortisol. The difference? What story you tell yourself. I’m choosing to go with excitement today. That’s a big stage baby. #expcon2025 Instagram post In this thing we call Realtor life, our lives tend to move in 30 day cycles. Listings, closings, deadlines, new best friends, repeat. Somewhere along the way, those months started flying by faster and faster. But lately, I realized… it’s not just the months that go fast anymore. It’s the years! Sigh.. At this point, I feel like I measure my life in EXPCONs. Each one marking a chapter. It’s the strangest thing. Sure, it’s a work trip. Sure, we all go hoping to find that one new strategy. The one thing that’s going to make this grind just a little easier. The one speaker that’s going to inspire you to finally do it. But honestly? For me, it’s about everything in between. It’s the hallway conversations that bring you to tears while simultaneously challenging your mindset. It’s the introduction of 2 mutual friends that turns into a full blown business. It’s the borrowed belief from an agent you’ve never heard of who crushes a breakout and shatters every excuse you ever had. It’s the cheesy sponsored happy hour. (that you definitely still go to because have you priced drinks and apps in Miami lately?) 😂 It’s the blisters you’ll have after dancing your face off like you’re not a mom of a college age kid. These are the moments that make EXPCON what it is. So yeah I’m pumped… only 2 more sleeps ‘til Miami ☀️ Who will I see this year?
